White House and Centers for Disease Control Guidelines for opening businesses during COVID-19

3 Phases to safely open up businesses in America, according to the White House and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The White House and CDC have published a presentation with guidelines for opening businesses in America. Car dealers can follow some of these guidelines to show customers they have their health and safety in mind:
  • Phase 1: Close COMMON AREAS where personnel are likely to congregate and interact, or enforce strict social distancing protocols. Minimize NON-ESSENTIAL TRAVEL and adhere to CDC guidelines regarding isolation following travel. Strongly consider SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS for personnel who are members of a VULNERABLE POPULATION.
  • Phase 2: For states with no evidence of a rebound, NON-ESSENTIAL TRAVEL can resume.
  • Phase 3: After a downward trajectory of positive tests for 42 days, the CDC recommends  UNRESTRICTED STAFFING of worksites.
